Nithya is a 20 year-old university student currently in the process of obtaining her BA linguistics degree. She enjoys making art, reading, listening to music, and writing. As a member of The Indigenous Foundation's columnist team, she aims to discuss specific topics relating to the ongoing colonization of the Indigenous communities of Turtle Island and the settler colonial systems in place that continue to inflict violence onto marginalized groups. She also hopes to collaborate with and support her fellow members at TIF with their endeavours while working towards becoming more knowledgeable on Indigenous and Black liberation movements and resistance practices across the world.
